Who We Are
Backstretch Outfitters Co. is a family-owned brand founded in 2025 by William, Amy, Reese Johnson, and Lindsey O’Mara. With deep roots in Thoroughbred racing through Stonegate Stables, Stonegate Racing Stables, and Turning Point Bloodstock, we created Backstretch Outfitters Co. to provide accessible, customizable apparel and branding for Thoroughbred owners and fans.
Based just north of Saratoga Race Course in Fort Edward, New York, we work within the racing industry every day. Our firsthand experience on the backstretch and beyond inspires gear that reflects the tradition, hard work, and passion of the sport—along with fun, everyday apparel designed for anyone who loves Thoroughbred racing.
